New TVS Apache 125 TAFT Unveiled: Aggressive Styling, Race-Tuned Engine & Smart Features for Street Dominance

TVS Motors has officially teased its upcoming launch — the TVS Apache 125 TAFT, a sporty 125cc bike targeted at young riders and city commuters who crave power, style, and tech. The TAFT (TVS Apache Future Technology) badge suggests this model will blend performance DNA from the Apache RTR series with futuristic features and a fresh design approach.

Bold and Sporty Design with LED Setup

The Apache 125 TAFT is expected to feature aggressive tank shrouds, a sharp LED headlamp, split grab rails, and sleek body graphics that make it look inspired by larger Apache siblings. It will likely get LED DRLs, a fully digital instrument console, and sporty ergonomics designed for both city rides and weekend thrills.

Refined 125cc Engine with Racing DNA

This new Apache is likely to be powered by a 124.8cc air-cooled, race-tuned fuel-injected engine producing around 11–12 PS of power and smooth torque delivery. The engine will be tuned for better acceleration, throttle response, and fuel efficiency, backed by a 5-speed gearbox. It’s expected to offer riding modes like Urban and Sport, just like its elder siblings.

Smart Features and Safety

The bike is rumored to include Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, and a USB charging port. On the safety front, it could offer front disc brake with CBS or single-channel ABS, and tubeless tyres for added grip and stability.

Expected Price and Launch

The TVS Apache 125 TAFT is expected to launch in late 2025, with a price tag around ₹95,000 to ₹1.05 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the Bajaj Pulsar NS125, Hero Xtreme 125R, and Honda SP125 in the premium 125cc segment.
